Nancy Castillo

Nancy CastilloNancy Castillo (Psychologist) was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from Humboldt State University, now known as Cal Poly Humboldt, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in School Psychology. Nancy began her career in education during her undergrad years where she worked for the CAL-SOAP organization through the Humboldt County Office of Education providing support and promoting higher education for middle and high school students. Through her work she hopes to create a safe space and provide support for students of all backgrounds in any way that she can. Nancy enjoys going to concerts, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and loved ones.

Marlene Jimenez-Lieu

Marlene JimenezMarlene Jimenez (Student Engagement) was born and raised in Sonoma County. She attended Sonoma State University before becoming a mother to two wonderful boys. Marlene was a parent volunteer at CCLA for 5 years, where she fell in love with the dual immersion school. In 2019, Marlene became a Bilingual Instructional Assistant for the TK classroom. As the COVID pandemic hit, she transitioned to distance learning serving students from all grade levels. She most recently worked to support English learners, before becoming the Student Engagement Activity Worker. Marlene loves being able to connect with students by creating fun activities that they can participate in.

Alison O'Herlihy

Alison O HerlihyAlison O'Herlihy (Nurse) was born in San Francisco, California. She attended Sonoma State University where she received her BSN and the University of San Francisco for my MSN CNL. She is new to the SRCS district as a school nurse. O'Herlihy covers CCLA, Helen Lehman and Albert Biella. She has been a nurse for the last 17 years practicing in the hospital with a focus on the heart, cardiac, stroke and education. O'Herlihy is a fourth generation San Franciscan and has lived in Sonoma County since 1989. She is enjoying becoming part of the educational community with a focus on health in school.

Eduardo Oseguera

Eduardo OsegueraEduardo Oseguera (Elementary Counselor) was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. He started his work as an educator after graduating from Fresno State in 2010. He went on to pursue his masters in School Counseling and graduated in 2017 from Sacramento State University. Eduardo has been an elementary school counselor since he graduated from Sac State, and previously worked at Steele Lane Elementary for 4 years. He's a very passionate counselor that loves to teach social-emotional lessons in the classroom and enjoys focusing on prevention. His creativeness and advocacy for mental health is something that he will bring into his counseling work. Outside of school, Eduardo enjoys his love for hiking, advocacy work, volunteering, reading, dancing, video editing, and listening to music.

Ofelia Reynoso

Ofelia ReynosoOfelia Reynoso (Middle School Counselor) was born and raised in Fairfield, Ca. She received her bachelor's in psychology from Sonoma State, and in May, received her master's and credentials from the University of San Francisco. Fun facts about Ofelia - she enjoys the beach and going out dancing, and is excited and looking forward to working for the CCLA community.

Amy Scribner

Amy ScribnerAmy Scribner (Climate & Culture TOSA) was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a teaching credential from Sonoma State.  Amy started her teaching career as a Social Studies teacher but has also taught English and ELD at schools across the Bay Area.  To continue her own education, Amy has earned a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Santa Clara University and completed the Administrative Credential Program through Sonoma State.  Amy is a devoted imperfectionist who loves to have adventures, create and spend time with her family.

Fun facts: I’ve visited over 20 countries on 6 continents, I’m an avid skier, and I firmly believe that a day isn’t complete without just a little chocolate.

Danielle Ullyott

Danielle UllyottDanielle Ullyott (Speech Services) is an Irish immigrant that speaks Spanish and is very excited about being at CCLA, a Spanish-immersion school with students from so many different cultures! She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-language Pathology at Bloomsburg University, before earning her Master’s in Communication Disorders at CSULB. She lived and worked as an SLP in Southern California in public schools and as a clinic supervisor at CSULB, before moving to SRCS. Danielle loves to teach kids to talk, spending time with her family, traveling, and while cooking is fun, she loves eating out: no dishes!  She was an Irish dancer for 30 years and now does CrossFit to stay healthy and happy.  Danielle likes to read, knit, draw, play games in speech therapy and at home, and dream big. She is always working on improving her listening skills and learning new languages.

Mercedes Vasquez

Mercedes VasquezMercedes Vasquez (Restorative Specialist) was born and raised in Santa Rosa and currently resides in Windsor. She graduated from Windsor High School and went on to Santa Rosa Junior College to receive an AA in Sociology. In 2015, she transferred to California State University, Northridge located in Southern California to earn a bachelor's degree in English Literature. Before becoming a Restorative Specialist at CCLA, she worked at Santa Rosa Middle School. Connecting and supporting as well as developing relationships with the students is important to her because it strengthens the school community. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, running out on trails, boating, traveling, going to football games, and being spontaneous.
